This compact module has an integrated laser and a microcontroller that operates in a variety of modes. Each Versalume USB Module comes with 1 meter of Fibrance® Light-Difusing Fiber. The module has three modes of operation: continuous, blink, and fade. The mode of operation can be configured by attaching it to your computer’s USB port and launching the downloadable App, compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. After choosing the operating mode that suits your needs, save the setting using the App and the Versalume USB Module can continue to run on your computer or is ready to go mobile. A battery source, such as a USB power pack, can then be used to power the module in your product integration and application design initiatives.
